Zodiac was founded in 2008 in anticipation of the launch of ICANN’s new gTLD program, which encourages innovation, competition and customer satisfaction to make use of more creative domain names on the Internet. China is one of the fastest growing Internet markets in the world with over 600 million Interne users. Chinese is the most spoken language in the world and as more and more of the Chinese population go online. However, current 22 gTLDs in the market don’t meet the growing demand of Chinese users and they are demanding an intuitive and culturally-meaningful domain names to identify themselves and to conduct their daily business online.. Eugene Li CEO
Eugene Li is the CEO of Zodiac. He joined Zodiac even since its inception. Before that, he has been working in the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) for a long time, where he has been serving as director of Marketing, Director of Registration management, VP of Sales. During his tenure at CNNIC, he has been heavily involved in a series of successful marketing activities, such as the opening up of second-level domain of .cn, and 1-Yuan registration promotion of .cn. Thanks to his contribution of these mind-blowing marketing promotions, .CN has seen a sky-rocketing takeoff, reaching 1 million milestone in 2005, and surpassing 10 million milestone in 2008, making then.cn the largest ccTLD in the world. He left CNNIC as VP of Sales in 2009.
Cindy Chen, VP Finance
Ms. Cindy Chen joined our Company as VP Finance in June 2013. Ms. Chen has over eighteen years of broad experiences in finance management, international financial reporting standards, tax planning and management, and investment and financing. Prior to joining our Company, Mrs. Chen worked as corporate controller of a Toronto Stock Exchange listed venture company, senior auditor of KPMG Vancouver office and various other managerial positions. Ms. Chen is members of the Institute of Certified General Accountant (“CGA”) of Canada and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) of the United Kingdom.
Zhanyong Zhang, VP
Zhanyong Zhang leads the product and development department after he joined Zodiac at the end of 2013. Zhanyong Zhang graduated from BUAA in 1985. Before he joined Zodiac, he was the product director and chief architect in HiChina.

1. Defining and driving a high level brand and communication strategy in line with the company’s strategy and vision.
